To request deletion of your Personal Information by this website, contact us at contact@loanspilot.us with the Subject Line “CCPA Right to Delete.” Once we are able to verify a consumer and process this deletion request, we will archive their personal information in a secure and encrypted, separate database scheduled for destruction in three (3) years from the date they provided their information to the website. The information will no longer be utilized for any purpose. Our website is precluded from processing deletion immediately by contractual and statutory prohibitions set forth in the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), The Canspam Act of 2003 (“CANSPAM”), and California Business and Professions Code Section 17529.5.

3. REQUEST TO OPT OUT OF THE SALE OR SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We honor applicable opt-out rights, including qualifying opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control, as required by law.

Submitting a loan request does not by itself waive your privacy rights or provide consent to sell your information. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Information sharing needed to complete a service you request will be explained separately from optional marketing and any sale of information. An opt-out request does not automatically prohibit every disclosure permitted by law, such as disclosures to service providers for authorized purposes. We will not use requested-service sharing as a blanket exception to your sale or sharing opt-out.

We will stop sale or sharing covered by your request within the applicable legal deadline. Any later authorization will be handled in accordance with applicable law and will not be inferred solely from continued Website use or a new service request.

4. LIMITATIONS AND VERIFICATION

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity for requests to know, access, correct, or delete Personal Information, as applicable. Information provided for verification will be used only to verify and process the request. Do not send sensitive identifiers by ordinary email.

A request to opt out of sale or sharing does not require identity verification. We may request information necessary to identify the information or processing to which your request relates. The twice-per-year limit applicable to requests to know does not apply to sale or sharing opt-out requests.

You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. Any authorization or verification requirements will depend on the type of request and applicable law. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the applicable reason and any available next steps.

5. RESPONSE TO REQUESTS

We respond to privacy requests within the time required by applicable law. Requests to know, correct, or delete generally receive a response within 45 days, subject to permitted extensions. If an extension is needed, we will notify you of the reason and revised response period as required by law.

Requests to opt out of sale or sharing are processed as soon as feasibly possible and no later than 15 business days after receipt. They are not subject to the verification requirements or response period for requests to know, correct, or delete. We will apply applicable requirements for communicating requests to recipients and enforcing your choices.
